Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Vacation Rental Cleaning Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall quality of our properties, ensuring a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Perform mid-stay cleanings and departure turnovers, ensuring properties are immaculate for guests.
- Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them proactively.
- Notify the Lunabase Operations Manager when maintenance tasks are needed, promptly addressing any issues to maintain property quality.
2. Guest Interaction:
- Communicate effectively with guests to address any cleaning-related concerns or requests.
- Provide a friendly and professional demeanor to enhance the guest experience.
3. Inventory Management:
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring all necessary items are stocked and available.
- Report any inventory shortages or needs to the Operations Manager.
4. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and high property standards.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
- Reliability, punctuality, and consistency in showing up on time as scheduled.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing guest needs and property requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high property standards.
- Capacity to complete tasks promptly without sacrificing quality to optimize property turnover.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Organizational skills for inventory management and scheduling turnovers.
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting.
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles is preferred.
