We have immediate openings for experienced and Certified Water Mitigation Technicians in our corporate Hampden, Maine location. Seeking positive, flexible individuals who work well with others as well as independently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ability to accurately sketch and measure a jobsite
· Availability to work nights or weekends as needed
· Commercial and residential water and sewage mitigation
· Complete paper documentation as required
· Demo affected areas as required and clean the work area of debris
· Ensure removal of all equipment from jobsites
· Knowledge and ability to place air movers and dehumidifiers as required for proper drying
· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
· Monitoring, drying and documenting of commercial and residential water and sewage losses at jobsite
· Obtain signatures from the customer on all required documentation
· On call rotation
· Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
· Punch in and out accurately using QuickBooks Time
· Take moisture readings and material samples as required
· Utilize Dash to enter notes, upload photos and forms, etc.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· A clean driver's license and reliable transportation are required
· Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices
· Ability to work with others and independently
· Attention to detail
· Clean and valid driver’s license required
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent documentation skills
· Familiarity with a truck mount system, remediation procedures and equipment (air-movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters, thermal hydrometers, etc.)
· High school diploma or GED required
· IICRC certification preferred
· Mitigation experience preferred
· Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service
· Pay is commensurate with years of experience and Certification
· Some nights/weekends required for emergency services.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
· Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and or quantitative productivity standards.
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
· Must be able to write clear and concise documentation of paperwork
· Must be capable of frequent standing, walking and lifting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
