Utility Worker / Fleet-Non Revenue Detailer - Anaheim

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.62/hr
Schedule: 6:30pm - 3:00am Monday thru Sunday (shift may vary)
Weekend work may be required depending on shift assigned.

Job Description:
The purpose of the Utility Worker/Detailer/Non-Revenue Cleaner is to ensure that the fleet is fully prepared for service. To assist the maintenance department with the upkeep of the fleet, shop, and operations facilities. The Bus Detailer position will be responsible to ensure the vehicle cleanliness which includes meticulously cleaning all vehicle exteriors and interiors.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1yr or more of janitorial or auto detailing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Able to work without direct supervision.
- Must be able to work in and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must possess a valid state driver's license with a minimum of one year of driving experience and a good driving record.
- Must be eligible for and able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License(CDL) with a Passenger endorsement within 90 days of hire.
- Flexibility in scheduling is a MUST.

- Ability to learn shop processes including fueling vehicles and cleaning vehicles.
- Ability to mix and use a variety of cleaning products.
- Ability to use a variety of equipment such as buffers, scrubbing machines, and other heavy cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to details
Key Accountabilities:
- All vehicles completely fueled, and fluids topped, ready for service
- Vehicle interiors cleaned according to the contract
- Vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body-fluid kit, first aid kit) fully stocked and functional.
- Thoroughly clean exterior, interiors of buses
- Washes exterior of vehicles using power washer and brushes; sweeps and removes trash from vehicles.
- Drives, maneuvers, and parks vehicles
- Ability to follow instructions, attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Properly use employer – provided wash equipment and maintain safe work area.
- Ensure that all vehicles have been properly cleaned.
- Ability to work with equipment including: handheld wash tools, pressure washers.
- Other duties as required.
- Vehicles parked according to facility parking plan
- Any fleet damage documented and communicated to the manager
- Fuel island maintained and kept clean, any spills immediately contained and reported to the manager.
- Work area maintained according to all OSHA and EPA regulations
- Shop area cleaned, mopped and trash disposed of daily
- Landscaping and lot cleaned and cared for as needed
- Post notices in vehicles as required by client
- Assist maintenance staff and manager as needed.
