Job Summary:
The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the janitorial operations within a high-rise condominium, ensuring that public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. The role requires a hands-on approach, effective team management, and a strong focus on quality control.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage janitorial teams to ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services.
Train, supervise, schedule, and recruit janitorial staff as needed.
Perform quality control checks and maintain high cleaning standards.
Manage janitorial tasks including marble buffing, crystallization, carpet shampooing, and maintenance of stainless steel, windows, brass, chrome, stone, and other surfaces.
Operate and oversee janitorial equipment, trash, recycling processes, and garbage compactor operations.
Ensure the appropriate use and management of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all safety rules and regulations.
Schedule and coordinate staff activities, including the preparation and submission of weekly payroll timesheets.
Conduct orientation and ongoing training for new and existing employees.
Maintain effective relationships with building management, tenants, and guests.
Resolve on-site service delivery issues and handle customer complaints effectively.
Manage inventory and monitor the use of janitorial equipment and supplies.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience in janitorial services.
Hands-on experience in high-rise condominium janitorial operations.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Russian.
Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning methods, equipment, and supplies.
Ability to manage cleaning teams for multiple buildings professionally.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
Proficient with technology, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Compensation:
Competitive salary, to be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $19.13 - $20.75 per hour
