Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that spaces are welcoming and safe for all occupants. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform tasks that require bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safety protocols is a plus.
