Automotive Parts Manufacturing
Immediate opening available to assist in the assembly of light-duty truck torque converters. We are a progressive Arvada shop with proprietary products in the automotive industry. This position is a great opportunity to enter the automotive manufacturing industry and allows for advancement.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Qualifications / Skills:
- Previous experience working in an automotive shop or manufacturing environment preferred, but not required. Willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be willing to learn, have strong communication skills, and be detail oriented
- Physical effort is required.
- Lifting torque converters up to 100 lbs from floor to work surface.
- Standing for the majority of shift.
- Use of power and air tools.
- Use of a manual lathe.
- Basic hand tools such as a socket set, screwdrivers, hammers, etc. are required.
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
- Cut open and prepare torque converters for assembly through the use of a manual lathe, grinder, and parts washer.
- Keep up with fast paced production while maintaining safety and quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned such as cleaning/maintenance of parts washers and taking out scrap metal using a forklift.
