JOB DESCRIPTION
Pay $15-$18 per hr
JOB TITLE: Utility/Washbay
REPORTS TO: Service Manager or Location Manager
JOB SUMMARY: Performs maintenance duties and cleaning of equipment for the service department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (listed in order of importance):
- Wash and detail internal and customer equipment.
- Maintenance and repair of the wash bay.
- Perform grounds maintenance for the dealer properties
- Assist in moving displays or equipment within the dealership.
- Operate a forklift to transport parts, equipment and supplies for the dealership
- Basic shop and toolroom cleaning and organization.
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
None
SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to perform multiple duties as assigned
- Basic knowledge of equipment safety procedures
- Operate a wide variety of equipment from lawn & garden tractors to large combines
- Forklift certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to run a high-pressure washer for extended time periods
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Extended periods of walking, standing and bending and climbing may be required.
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions in wide ranges of ambient temperatures.
