L & B Commercial Cleaning, LLC is looking for full- and part-time Commercial Office Cleaning Specialists. Our Cleaning Specialist will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in commercial office establishments. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for employees, customers, and visitors. There will be a variety of duties including clean, polish, and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, deep cleans, etc.) L&B Commercial Cleaning, LLC takes pride in offering quality service to our clients and only seek people who desire to give the same result. Key Responsibilities
1. General Cleaning- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures. Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and countertops.
2. Floor Care - Clean and maintain various types of flooring, including carpets, tiles, and hardwood. Operate floor cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and floor buffers. Follow proper procedures for floor stripping, waxing, and polishing when required.
3. Window and Glass Cleaning - Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions. Ensure that glass surfaces are free of streaks and smudges. Clean windowsills and eliminate spiderwebs and other bug debris.
4. Supply Management - Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed. Report any issues with cleaning equipment or supplies to the supervisor.
5. Specialized Cleaning - Handle specialized cleaning tasks as required, such as deep cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and exterior cleaning. May perform post-construction clean-up to enable tenants to occupy the new space.
6. Security and Safety - Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. Secure the premises by locking doors and windows after completing cleaning tasks.
7. Communication - Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members. Report any maintenance or repair needs observed during cleaning duties.
8. Adherence to Cleaning Standards - Adhere to established cleaning standards and guidelines. Follow industry best practices for maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
9. Flexible Schedule - Be available to work during non-business hours, including evenings and weekends, to minimize disruption to daily operations. Be on-call and/or available on an as-needed basis
10. Customer Service - Interact courteously with clients’ customers, employees, and visitors as well as our own team, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
Requirements:
· Previous experience in commercial and/or residential cleaning is preferred.
· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, a plus
· Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols
· Physical stamina, willing to be on your feet for long periods of time, and the ability to lift heavy objects; must be able to lift 25 pounds
· Hard working with extreme attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks a must
· Excellent time management and organization skills; keen eye for excellence
· Strong communicator with others; must be able to speak and understand English; Spanish speaking a plus
· Must have reliable transportation and a valid FL identification
