Fire and Water Restoration Technician

LOOKING FOR A CERTIFIED WATER TECHNICIAN

Company

Flostop specializes in Water Mitigation, Mold Remediation, and Reconstruction. The technician is responsible for emergency responses to new leads, and ensuring the goals and needs of the insurance companies, and our customers are met. The technician is also responsible for implementing water remediation procedures consistent with the IICRCS-500 Standard.

Essential Job Duties

Water pumping and extraction
Mold remediation
Moving & resetting contents
Selective demolition as required to accommodate the drying process
Debris disposal
Setting drying equipment
Carpet cleaning
Moisture mapping the affected area, inclusive of temperature, relative humidity, and MC moisture content readings
Provide good documentation & photos of new jobs
Ensuring vehicles are cleaned and restocked at the end of shifts
Maintaining equipment
Practices good organization at all times to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite
Provide excellent customer service
Works under time constraints to meet specific timelines
Ensures attention to detail is provided at all times and assists in safeguarding other people’s property and information

Skills and Qualifications

IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) is required
Industry related experience, restoration, and/or insurance preferred
Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices
Capable of and eligible to operate a motor vehicle
Ability to work effectively as a team and independently, as needed
Strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced, busy environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Basic computer and/or Tablet/iPad experience
Willing to work evenings, on call, and weekends as frequently as requested

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
