Job Summary:

National Real Estate Management Company seeks an experienced Maintenance/Janitor Technician, for our property in Schoharie, NY.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the janitorial operation and light maintenance of our residential apartment community; consisting of a 72-unit property.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: janitorial & grounds upkeep, snow removal, knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing and appliance repair skills a plus, performing daily work orders in a timely manner, unit turnovers, painting & drywall repair, basic carpentry, locks & keys

On-call shifts - Alternating on-call shifts required to address emergencies and snow removal after hours and weekends. Must live within 30 minutes of site for on-call and have a valid license and reliable vehicle. Job requires some heavy lifting, shoveling, and other physical requirements.

The right candidate will be someone who is honest, organized, able to multi-task and who works well with people, both co-workers and residents. Must have a positive attitude, ability to take directions from a Supervisor, and be a highly motivated individual. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
