Job Summary

The Janitor role keeps manufacturing floor and breakrooms clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors and removing rubbish.

Duties/Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness in the Front Office, Training Center, Adair, and the WELL.
Collects/disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
Operates/maintains floor sweeper, scrubber and any other equipment required.
Moves equipment/furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back.
Cleans assigned areas, using assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces.
Cleans parking lot, which includes picking up ear plugs, gloves, cigarettes, and any other trash that is visible.
Performs minor building maintenance activities including cleaning and painting.
Maintains required supplies for job duties.
Ensures a clean, safe environment for visitors and staff, including safety walkway.
Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with co-workers and customers.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 40 lbs.
