Schedule: 4:30pm-12:30am

JOB DUTIES

Works to ensure offices and other specified areas of assigned responsibility are kept in a clean and in orderly condition. This position works under the supervision of either the Facility Manager or the Night Supervisor for Support Services.

Essential Functions

Vacuums, dust mops and/or wet mops assigned areas of responsibility, including offices, public waiting sections, hallways and elevators.
Dusts freestanding furniture as assigned.
Thoroughly cleans, sanitizes and maintains restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors according to established schedule.
Replenishes restroom supplies, towels, tissue and soap as necessary.
Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all clinic exam rooms.
Removes waste from assigned areas as per schedule.
Disposes of all bio-medical waste material as required.
Maintains cleaning equipment.
Responds to beeper calls to clean spills or other housekeeping needs.
Maintain current knowledge of department cleaning standards.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities

Ability to effectively communicate by telephone, or in person; must be able to respond to beeper calls as they arise.
Ability to communicate effectively and courteously, both orally and in writing.
Detailed knowledge of appropriate cleaning materials and guidelines.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent - Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
