The Pool and Beach Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of pool/beach guests and maintaining daily operations of the pool. This position also involves assisting with beach operations and equipment. A Pool Attendant must be friendly, courteous, professional, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Essential Functions

Greets guests with a friendly and sincere welcome
Respectfully listens and responds to guest questions and complaints in an efficient and professional manner
Appropriately organizes pool towels, refreshes as needed. Delivers used towels to Laundry for cleaning and keeps towels stocked
Assists in maintaining hotel’s supply of towels by following policy for guest responsibility of hotel’s pool towels.
Maintains cleanliness of pool decks, pool restrooms, and surrounding area.
Organizes lounge chairs, stands, tables and other pool furniture in an orderly fashion.
Actively participates in the assurance of the safety and fun of all programs.
Assists with beach operations and equipment as needed. This includes transportation of equipment to and from the beach and proper set-up in designated area. Attends to guest needs.
Completes additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

1-2 years of experience in a public contact position
Customer service experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to perform well under pressure
Detail-oriented, organized, cleanly
Must have a flexible schedule (may be required to work late shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed)
