Janitor/Maintenance Position at Royal Threads.

Job Summary:
Royal Threads is looking for a dedicated Janitor/Maintenance worker to join our team. The Janitor/Maintenance will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, performing industrial and commercial cleaning tasks, and assisting in general maintenance duties.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning Tasks:

Perform cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of indoor areas.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Dusting surfaces and removing cobwebs.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
Wipe down surfaces and disinfect high-touch areas.
Remove garbage and waste from work areas and dispose of properly.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.

Outdoor Maintenance:

Clean and maintain the perimeter outside the building.
Remove debris and litter from sidewalks and parking areas.
Ensure outdoor areas are free of hazards and obstacles.

Maintenance Tasks:

Change air filters in HVAC systems.
Replace light bulbs and ensure proper lighting throughout the facility.
Perform minimal assembly tasks such as assembling desks or furniture.
Remove threads or debris from wheels on carts to maintain smooth operation.
Perform minor repairs or maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience in janitorial or maintenance work preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and materials.
Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Availability to work during regular business hours, with occasional flexibility for special projects or emergencies.

Note: This position does not require driving, and work is not performed in inclement weather conditions. The Janitor and Maintenance Worker will primarily focus on indoor cleaning and light maintenance tasks, with occasional duties around the exterior of the building.
