Project Site Cleaning Team Member

SUMMARY

Professional painters apply coatings to a variety of substrates providing the finishing touches to create a beautiful space. Depending on the project, a painter applies coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, epoxy, or lacquer to decorate and protect the designated surfaces. These tasks lead to debris and materials being dispersed throughout the project site. In order to keep a clean and safe work environment, a vital part of our project teams include the cleaning crew. The ideal candidate loves working with a team, be detail-oriented, and organized with great physical dexterity, strength and balance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean up during the application of new coatings, sanding, filling holes, and removing old paint.
Wipe surfaces and dispose of trash.
Take direction from project leaders.
Adhere to all safety procedures and requirements.
Clock in and out of work days
Notify appropriate personnel of constraints and task completion
Clean areas at the end of every work day, removing debris and excess drippings

Pre-Requisites

Comfortable working with chemicals and tools
Comfortable being on a construction site
CV, or Resume, preferred
Willing to learn, receive feedback

SALARY AND BENEFITS

This position is available for seasonal, project-based, or full-time hourly. The standard work week is 40 hours (8 hours a day, 5 days a week). Additional hours are subject to additional compensation.

The range for this is $17-20/hr based on years of experience and qualifications. Eligible benefits for full-time employees include health insurance (BlueCross BlueShield), paid time off gained over time at company (up to 2 weeks), and professional development opportunities available.
