Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe for all occupants. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning and maintenance tasks, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
Carry out industrial cleaning tasks as needed to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Assist with residential painting projects when required to enhance the aesthetic appeal of facilities.
Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring that all cleaning materials are stocked and in good condition.
Execute custodial duties including trash removal, recycling, and sanitizing surfaces.
Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues that need attention.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment such as buffers and scrubbers.
Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining a clean environment.
Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 37.50 per week
