We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at a government facility in Tequesta, FL, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
Conduct thorough commercial cleaning of offices, restrooms, and common areas.
Maintain cleanliness in residential settings as needed, including basic painting tasks.
Handle custodial duties such as trash removal and recycling.
Assist with porter services by ensuring the facility is tidy and presentable at all times.
Conduct industrial cleaning tasks in designated areas, following safety protocols.
Support facilities maintenance by reporting any maintenance issues or repairs needed.
Buff floors and maintain surfaces to ensure they are clean and polished.

Skills

Proficient in floor care techniques and equipment operation.
Experience in commercial cleaning environments is preferred.
Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures.
Ability to perform residential painting tasks as needed.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
Familiarity with industrial cleaning standards and safety regulations.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

This service must be performed twice weekly but is flexible between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesdays & Fridays.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 6 per week
