Engineering Technician

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Links/Gunns Dry Cleaning is a leading hotel linen plant. We are guided in our work by our core values that are the basis for our success: Production, Quality, and Safety.

The Engineering Technician is responsible for assisting with the production process to achieve clean linen. This position will report to the Chief Engineer and have a full time schedule with occasional overtime as needed. This position will also be located at our Grand Prairie, TX facility.

Essential Duties:
Engineering Technician responsibilities include:

Working alongside engineering team to design, build and test solutions to a variety of technical problems
Inspecting and modifying existing designs and prototypes
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills & Experience:
·High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
·Experience in a production environment preferred but not required
·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and multiple tasks accomplished in under 48 hours preferred
·Excellent customer service skills required (must be able to provide customer service on a personal level)
·Ability to maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment where performance is essential; must be able to deal effectively with employees
·Ability to problem solve independently as required
·Ability to follow basic safety policies and procedures including all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety protocols within the available time frame

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
