Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests. This role is essential in maintaining the standards of our laundry facility. The Attendant will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

This is a FAST PACED multi-tasked RETAIL environment.
Requires lifting (max 35lbs) and bending to operate commercial washers and dryers.
Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing assistance as needed.
Operate Point of Sale register efficiently, handling credit and cash transactions accurately and securely. There will be training, but prior retail experience is a MUST.
Launder linens and towels according to established procedures, ensuring cleanliness and quality. Pefer applicant who has some Wash & Fold Experience, but not a requirement.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including rest rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities.
Assist with cleaning services as required, ensuring garments are handled with care.
Utilize basic math skills to manage transactions and provide accurate change to customers.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members to uphold hospitality standards and enhance customer experiences.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Experience with cash handling and operating Point of Sale regsiters.
Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
Knowledge of laundry Wash & Fold procedures including laundering techniques.
Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas.
Previous laundromat experience or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
