Landers Recycling is hiring a full-time Cashier / Scale Operator. This is a hands on customer service position.

Landers Recycling is Central Florida's friendliest scrap metal yard, priding ourselves on our customer service and our relationships with our customers. We are looking for friendly individual that can move customers quickly and accurately through the checkout process,, making them feel welcome and appreciated. This position would also be crossed trained to be a scale operator.

Job responsibilities to include:

Accurate payment of customers for scrap metal loads
Operation of Truck scales to accurately weigh customers in and out of the yard
Manage truck and container shipments in and out of facility
Direct traffic in the yard
Answer telephone calls and questions
Organize customer tickets
Cleaning of scale, office, yard and bathrooms as assigned
Build positive relationships / rapport with customers
Maintain compliance with local, state and federal laws.
Other duties as assigned

Landers Recycling is a fast paced scrap yard and this position requires extensive standing and some outside work. If you enjoy staying busy and talking to people, this job is for you.

Hours: Mon-Fri 7:45a - 5:00p
