HOUSEKEEPER NEEDED FOR OUR ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES TEAM!

Full-time day shift (7am to 3:30pm), rotating schedule pattern (4 on/2 off).

Our Environmental Services Department is comprised of housekeeping, laundry and maintenance to ensure the team provides coordinated services throughout our campus. This position is based in the skilled nursing facility on the Josephine Caring Community campus. We are a senior care community which offers not only skilled nursing but also long term and memory care, assisted living, home health and home care, plus onsite childcare services for a truly intergenerational experience.

Job Summary:

Cleaning and sanitation of resident rooms, care areas, common areas and offices.

Primary assignments:

· Clean, mop, and sanitize designated areas

· Dust and polish furniture and fixtures

· Vacuum carpets and rugs

· Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly

· Restock supplies in bathrooms and common areas

· Follow housekeeping management guidelines and procedures

· Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals

· Assist with special cleaning projects as needed (e.g., carpet cleaning)

Environmental Service Department Requirements:

· Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment (on the job training is provided).

· Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

· Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

· Ability to follow instructions and adhere to housekeeping management guidelines

· Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
