Storage Property Manager

We are seeking a motivated individual with outstanding customer service skills, sales experience, and leadership skills to manage our locally owned, upscale self-storage facility in San Rafael, CA. This full-time position is responsible for the daily operations of the facility. He/she will contribute to profitability by taking ownership and accountability of the property and providing exceptional customer service. On-site manager unit available for the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities:

· Assist new customers in finding storage solutions that meets their needs

· Provide superior customer service

· Reservation and walk-in customer conversion

· Assist with development and implementation of promotional/marketing programs

· Perform market research

· Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services

· Assist customers with retail purchases, up-selling

· Execute leases

· Collections

· Ensure high quality property appearance through light maintenance/cleaning

Qualifications:

· Minimum one year of sales, retail or hospitality experience required

· Previous property management experience strongly preferred

· Motivated individual who strives for continuous self-improvement

· Able to seek opportunities and solutions daily

· Able to coach, train, and motivate staff

· Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team

· Strong organizational skills

· Proficient with Microsoft Office with ability to learn new software

· Detail oriented with strong time management skills

· Ability to work weekends/select holidays as necessary

· Possess a valid California driver’s license

· Must have professional appearance

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
