Description:

Chicago-based Horizon Realty Group is a family-owned and operated property management company that buys, remodels and rents updated, high-value apartments in a variety of iconic buildings. Currently, with 30 buildings in Chicago, Horizon also owns one building in Evanston.

Horizon has a strong history of reviving vintage and historic buildings – paying homage to the past while adding amenities that serve its residents well into the future. Horizon has invested $50 million in renovations to 13 building in just the past five years.

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean work environment for all employees and tenants to the properties. The Custodian service a singular building or group of buildings.

Responsibilities:

Remove snow along the walkways of the properties.
Maintain the integrity and condition of the property.
Dispose of property garbage and upkeep of the cleanliness of the property.
Ability to prepare apartments for move-ins.
Properly maintains and uses Horizon Realty Group’s materials, tools, and supplies.

Requirements and Skills:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous employment as a Custodian is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Roll up your sleeves attitude.
Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
