Job Overview

Riverside Management and Financial Services, Inc. is looking for a Resort Janitor for a 55+ community in
Lincoln, CA. The Custodial/Maintenance responsibilities include, but not limited to cleaning and light maintenance. A successful resort custodian/maintenance should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to provide a high level of service, as well as complete assigned tasks within the stipulated period.

The Janitorial/Custodial Position is responsible for the daily cleaning of a 55+ HOA community amenity building. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team.

Directly reports to the Maintenance Specialist.

Custodial Responsibilities:

Must have 5+ years experience custodian/janitorial and/or light maintenance experience.
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types
Clean and sanitize all areas of the amenity building including bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces
Empty all trash receptacles and replace liners
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
Communicate with the Maintenance Specialist to ensure that you always have sufficient cleaning products
Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are in working order
Reporting any breakages to the Maintenance Specialist that occur during the cleaning process
Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed
Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Any additional responsibilities as assigned by management

General Requirements:

Must have 5+ years experience custodian/janitorial and/or light maintenance experience.
Familiarity with cleaning procedures
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stretch, lift and carry heavy materials
Proven custodial and laundry experience in a similar role
Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment
High school diploma or equivalent required
Excellent organizational skills and able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision
Available to work mornings and evenings, plus weekends, as needed
Basic arithmetic skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Personable disposition with a knack for high-level customer service
Willing to follow and uphold COVID-19 policies and procedures, including Association and city guidelines
Any additional responsibilities as assigned by management
