The Janitor ensures the cleanliness and overall appearance of our manufacturing facility, offices, and common areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. They will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, as well as assisting with general facility upkeep and organization.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of manufacturing areas, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces, including floors, walls, windows, and furniture, to remove dirt, debris, and stains.
Empty trash bins and recycling containers, and dispose of waste materials according to company policies and procedures.
Clean and disinfect restroom facilities, replenish supplies, and ensure compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, and report any shortages or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with other departments and team members to address cleaning and maintenance needs, and support facility-related projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with basic facility maintenance is preferred
Proven experience as a janitor or cleaner, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy and security of employees, customers, and company information.
Flexibility to work early morning, evening, or weekend shifts as needed to accommodate cleaning schedules and facility operations.

Working Environment:

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
