WANTED: Housekeeper wanted for upkeep of commercial properties

Art District Real Estate is the governing organization over several properties that make up Tallahassee’s art district which has been the haven for creatives, artists, and business entrepreneurs for the past 40 years. Currently these properties include the historic Railroad Square, Railroad Village, Railroad Crossings, and Art District Collective.

We are seeking a trustworthy and efficient employee for the purpose of performing housecleaning duties at some of these properties. Position is intended to be a 3-6 month commitment, with the possibility of becoming permanent depending on goodness-of-fit and needs of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain cleanliness of designated bathrooms used by tenants and the public

- 2 at Art District Collective

- multiples and singles at Railroad Square

Clean real estate office
Occasional special cleaning assignments such as on doors, windows, and signs.

Hours: 15 per week (schedule can be discussed and set at time of employment)

Pay Rate: $15 per hour

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-trustworthy

-transportation to work

-valid driver's license and clean driving record

-background check / drug test

-able to lift 20 lbs

-experience with cleaning

-willingness to tackle the occasional challenging cleaning jobs (i.e, backed up plumbing, graffiti)

-ability to recognize and report damage to property

-ability to keep accurate records
