A professional silk screen printer is responsible for performing all of the duties involved in the screen printing process. Duties will include but not limited to designing the screen print patterns on Corel, preparing screen printing stencils, mixing and loading ink, cleaning and troubleshooting problems. Person will need to be able to assemble silkscreened product as a build-up of certain glass and plastics into higher level assemblies. Assemble filter assemblies to plastic and glass filters using epoxies, silicone, and RTV’s. High attention to detail is a must. Technician must to be able to follow guidelines, diagrams, and drawings to ensure tolerance and product specifications are met. This individual must be able to work well with little supervision and will report to the Production Manager. Individual must be available to work flexible hours which includes overtime when requested.

Qualifications:

Must have high school diploma or equivalent (minimum educational requirement)
2-3+ years of silk screen experience
Corel program experience
Clear vision, correct color perception and hand-eye coordination are crucial
A degree of creativity is essential for this position

Responsibilities:

Artwork creation using Corel
Handle and mix screen printing inks and chemicals
Handle a variety of adhesives used in the assembly process
Ensuring negatives match drawings
Storage of flammable materials and cleanliness of area.
Inspection of final production to ensure Self and QA satisfaction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
